Our
horses receive the very best care. They are fed
a well balanced diet (including grains!) appropriate
to their age and work load. They receive routine
veterinary & hoof care. *All* foals are
examined by a veterinarian within the first day of
life to ensure they are in the very best physical
condition. The herd is de-wormed every 60 days
and the foals are de-wormed monthly for the first 8
months of their lives.
Our
horses are stick measured at the middle of the wither
while the horse is standing on flat concrete.
Our stated measurements are exact measurements.
Our horses don't mysteriously grow or shrink in size
while in transit from us to their new owners!
Our
horses are photographed in pasture condition. We
don't groom, bathe or condition them prior to our
photo sessions. We want our visitors to see our
Curlies with their natural beauty and natural physique
which goes hand in hand with their naturally great
minds and gentle temperaments.
Exporting
a horse to the United States is an uncomplicated
process that we can gladly assist you with. We
also work closely with a reputable agent for overseas
export. Quarantine and transport can easily be
arranged. We are located reasonably close to
both Toronto/Pearson and Montreal/Trudeau airports
ensuring your horse will not be in transit for
excessively long periods of time.
A
deposit will hold an older horse for 30 days for
transport arrangements to be made. After 30 days
boarding fees will be applied as well as any farrier,
vet and deworming costs incurred. A deposit will
hold a foal until weaning. We invite and
encourage our buyers to spend as much time with their
foal prior to weaning. We DO NOT accept payment
plans and no horse leaves the property unless the sale
price and accrued board and care costs are paid for in
full.
For
horses priced over $3,000 we include a negative
Coggins, registration & ownership transfers and a
basic health certificate. Multiple horse
discounts are available. Occasionally we will
accept offers below asking price so don't be shy!
